About
In keeping with Augustiner tradition, this restaurant has all the warmth, cosiness and tradition of a real Bavarian inn. On cooler days and evenings outdoors guests can dine outside and enjoy a freshly tapped Augustiner beer or an early evening drink, thanks to the outdoor heaters. The Augustiner am Dante serves seasonal and traditional Bavarian cuisine. Quality and freshness are key priorities for the restaurant. From Mondays to Fridays you can choose from the weekday lunchtime menu and the main menu. The weekday menu has dishes which are particularly good value with prices ranging between 5.90 and 8.90 Euros. You will also be served Augustiner beers, Prinz Luitpold dark and light wheat beer and alcohol-free Clausthaler and Erdinger wheat beer. The Augustiner am Dante also serves Augustiner beer from the barrel and special treats every Friday from 6 pm onwards. The Augustiner am Dante is particularly well regarded in terms of quality of service and its friendly and considerate staff dressed in smart Lederhosen and Dirndls (the Dirndl being the traditional Bavarian dress).Details

Really, a nice typical Bavarian Restaurant, where amazingly very low priced for very tasty German dishes and specialities. As always expected, delicious beer and a very familiar German environment with a very good Bavarian service, not like in Hessen.

Visited here for dinner on a Friday evening. Service was fast. Food came in very generous portions; was delicious and reasonably priced. One of the best, simple and wholesome dinners I’ve had in Germany in my last 30 years of visiting.
A very good experience. The wait staff were friendly and genuinely helpful with us as non german speaking tourists. The food was well priced and made. Wiener schnitzel in particular very tasty.
We ordered the daily special plus other trad Bavarian specialities, and were faced with enormous portions, which we had problems finishing. The food was freshly prepared so no complaints!!
