About
Undoubtedly the citys most sophisticated Indian restaurant, Meena Kumari is nestled beneath the colourful towering buildings of the imposing Lychener Strasse. A glass frontage gives way to fresh, white walls, comfortable cream banquettes and colourful artworks a great talking point whether you pop in for after work drinks or a lingering romantic meal. Towards the back of the restaurant a deep red enclave, almost hidden behind a huge image of the beautiful Indian actress after which the restaurant is named, provides a more intimate, dimly lit setting where couples enjoy each others company and small groups of friends gossip over wine. The unusual, Indian style dishes which populate a short and sweet menu upon which the large platters of appetisers are particularly popular for sharing.
