This must have been part of a factory because there was a huge engine and big pipes. A buffet meal was served and the choices were delicious and the grilled lamb and pork cuts were soft.
I was there with a big group (business event) and I didn’t like the arrangement: only small tables for 4 people, which didn’t help the mingling at all. Very good the atmosphere. Food so and so.
We had the most perfect wedding reception at the Alte Pumpe, everything was perfect: the industrial atmosphere, the decoration and the food was excellent! The service was incredible, I could not imagine a better location for such an event!
Out of the way and food quite basic, however we were in a large group and that may have affected what we experienced.
