The Oscar is located in the historic freight hall of the Hamburg-Bergedorf freight depot. Wood beams and ceiling structures dating back to 1935 stand 8 metres high and are definitely worth a look. The gallery gives a stunning panoramic view. Small family parties and receptions can be seated separately here and there is room for up to 80 people for a private party. The terrace is located on what used to be the station platform and is shaded by a roof canopy. There is ample parking right outside the front door. Classic Italian cuisine is served here, using only fresh produce based on whatever happens to be in season. The Oscar even bakes its own bread and the wine is imported from Italian growers direct.
