The food is great for an American style dinner. From taste and preparation of the food to how the servers act reminds me of an American steakhouse. Food was well prepared and quite tasty.
I went to Hamburg for a wedding party and on the first night I was looking for the good stake and I find this gorgeous restaurant near the place that we stay.
The Block House was just over the street from our hotel and was recommended by the hotel staff. Shortly: They were absolutly right. Very good food in general and Steak in special. Friendly and nice staff. Even the bill had an handwritten Thanksgiving on it.
