Everything was just as you would expect. The restaurant was packed with lots of food coming out from the kitchens but the service was excellent and very helpful.
I came when the restaurant was fully booked and crowded, they found a solution for me. And the food (Labskaus) was the best I ever got.
Good variety of typical German food and good service but our food was a bit on the cold side and our main courses came without vegetables. Food was average.
Had a great meal here – weiner schnitzel comes in two sizes – which was great for my wife. Lovely food, efficient service,reasonably priced. Happily visit again anytime.
The food is a throw back to the 1980s, and not in a good way! If you’re a fan of plain boiled vegetables and overcooked meat this is your sort of restaurant, very old fashioned fare and not cheap.
Warm, friendly service with very good food. Great price too. Sat inside on a beautiful night due to outside smoking.
In Hamburg for the Rotary Convention and visited this restaurant for some local food, which was good. Short walk from the Grand Elysee hotel. Large portion sizes with excellent service – good value for money.
