Lucky to get a table on Easter Monday when all of Hamburg was enjoying the sunny weather. Our waiter was efficient and I was glad my dessert arrived before my wife’s main course.
For our first dinner out in Hamburg, we chose this unpretentious café on the Ausser Alster waterfront, near a boating club, with stupendous sights. Kind service, moderate prices and tasty fish dishes, accompanied by a glass of cooling Italian white wine. Quite satisfying.
Unfreundliche Bedienung und maßlos überteuertes, unbeeindruckendes Essen. For the english speaking among us: A place to avoid at all costs because you can bet they will charge you more. The staff are impolite and the food very sub-par.
