The wines are ok, but not the best (which is funny, because the restaurant is in the middle of the best wine area of Germany) and expensive. The tables are not very clean. There is self service, which is ok!
Lovely place to sit on a sunny day, have a glass of wine and watch the ships passing by. Outdoo seats are rare, but it’s worth to wait.
We stayed near Eltville for a week and went to this cafe on a number of occasions for a coffee and a cake. Always enjoyed it with the location right next to the busy Rhine. Very scenic and a fun place.
