The Gasthaus zur Gerste lies in the Odenwald. Right next to it the moated castle Frstenau and right next to it the Einhardsbasilika. The Gasthaus zur Gerste has a wonderful beer garden, which invites you to linger in summer. The "Saustall" is an attraction in itself. Events take place here. The guesthouse stands for good bourgeois cuisine and is well known far beyond the Odenwald for its great pork chop.
