I was at a lunch with about 12 people who I used to work with some 10 years ago. Been at the Elgin before and little has changed and its a fab location.
A visit to Charlestown and the Elgin Hotel for the 1st time. We were impressed. Friendly welcome. Fine food. I am sure that we will return here. Breaded haddock and the Steak pie were pretty good. Off the beaten track, fantastic views too!
Came to our rescue at the last minute. Accommodating, friendly, gave us a lower rate than advertised. Food excellent and great value for money. Staff and owners very friendly. Attentive but not intrusive. Defo come back
