This is one of the oldest Cafes in Marburg. It has a very quaint cafe vibe and there was a great selection of cakes. A very nice place to hang out with friends for an afternoon.
The place is always full on a Sunday so the service become extremely slow. However, the cake they have there is so delicious and worth a try. You can choose from many breakfast menus to find what you please and for a very low price.
It is a very historic cafe. Sometimes are there events like jazz or readings. You can have everything you need for cafe. Good few to the city and mountain and Spiegelslustturm.
Although it’s one of the most traditional places in town, offering a great view, it looks like it had better times. You still get great pastry, decent coffee and a very special atmosphere.
