Of all the ‘Apfelwein Kneipen’/ Pubs in Sachsenhausen Atschel is one of my favourites. It’s not as spacious as the other neighbouring ones, the atmosphere is great and the traditional food is authentic and tasty.
Great place with fantastic food. Loved the pork medallions in Calvados gravy!! Kasespatzle was decadent and yummy..bring an appetite!! I enjoyed the apflewine with sparkling water. Service was fine and it seemed to be a mixture of tourists and locals.
