A lovely rustic looking pub with a nice menu with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful, well worth a visit if you’re in the vicinity.
Ate here twice with large groups. First time was very good and service excellent. Second time food still good but service terribly slow and mixed up orders. It’s a noisy restaurant so not great for a romantic dinner but good fun for groups.
Order the Holztrug platter for everyone, and a “mass” of beer.Laberkase, porkknuckle, white sausage, bratwurst, frankfurter, sauerkraut, potatoes, mustard. Top drawer stuff. Share and enjoy. Good atmosphere, always busy, you must reserve a table.
We loved the authentic German food! Great spaetzle. Service was a bit slow but we enjoyed every bit.
Good selection of schnitzel plus plenty of other choice. Reasonable choice of beers too. Busy with locals and visitors alike, friendly and vibrant atmosphere. Recommended
