The venetian composer Antonio Vivaldi has always been in fond of this cosy, familiar atmosphere at the trattorias. He came from a middle-class family and he always loved to stay and eat in the trattorias of the city. Eventhough he became a composer of operas and worked as a director afterwards in more sophisticated environment, he never stopped loving the basic, but first class cuisine of Italy.
