About
The Brasserie Augustus is on Augustusplatz. It is not just the location which makes the restaurant a popular place to visit after going to the opera or the concert hall. The original Art Deco interior gives the restaurant a special feel. The cuisine plays its part too, as the recipes are as eclectic as the Art Deco itself. Lobster-filled black ravioli, monkfish medallions in bacon garnished with Alsatian Dijon sauerkraut. The restaurant is also adept at producing traditional good plain cooking from Saxony. The Augustus has seating for more than 130 diners. The bar has seating for a further 50 people. Functions catering for between 5 and 150 people can also be arranged by dividing the floor space into different levels. The terrace has room for 250 diners.
