At first site this little tavern located out of the city center looks old and not very inviting, HOWEVER, once you taste the food you realize this is it !Great food, very pleasant service and awesome authentic, down to earth Greek tavern.
It was great. The potato salad was made from fresh lumpy potato, not cut up raw cubes like in supermarkets. The whitebait was excellent. The prices were low and the bread was lovely and yellow in colour.
Dissapointed. Dishes were out of stock, served food was raw (chicken and pork souvlaki), 2nd time the same dish was served without the salad.
The best local Taverna in Kos. Away from noisy busy touristy part of town, in a quite street where almost all clientele are local people. Very highly recommended.
Down back streets and quite hard to find this is a gem of a restaurant. Mainly frequented by locals (you know it’s good if the locals eat here) the food is delicious, yet simple, good portions and very cheap.
