la Gorgona is the only Italian restaurant in Karpathos Island. it's located in the main square in Diafani village, close to the fountain. 2 minutes walk from the pier and along the road to the ferry dock. A beautiful veranda in front of the sea for romantic moments and also chairs in the square to feel downtown :)Gabriella, the cook, offers both Italian and Greek food. As she says, she also offers "smart conversation"... A very nice place to eat, drink, reading a book listening to music or simply watching at the sea! Don't go away without asking for a dessert; all cakes are homemade, fresh every day. Let's also have a "limoncello" prepared with organic lemons from Diafani gardens. We accept reservations and prepare fish soup/seafood on demand. Free wifi.
