The restaurant is situated in a location close to the water's edge near the marina in Finikas on the west side of the Greek Cyclades Island of Syros. At Dia Xeiros you will be able to enjoy our homemade pies, made in the traditional way. They may remind you of the sort of homemade pies you could eat in their village from Grandma ... But even those who have never experienced these you may pleasantly discover new definitions of "homemade", "pure" and "traditional". You MUST try, Strapatsada, fried feta with pastry and honey, homemade pies and "daily" dishes. Dia Xeiros also offers homemade dishes such as stuffed cabbage, pasticcio, moussaka, faggots, burgers, pasta, vegetable dishes such as green beans, okra, braised, stewed beef, stewed or oven cooked chops, meatballs, stuffed meatloaf, and more... Every day we cook two or three different dishes and we serve fresh fish (from the local fisherman). You can enjoy dining on our spacious exterior terrace with beautiful waterside views in the summer or in our interior dining room during the cooler times. Our dishes are also available for take away.
