The bakery of the island to buy food for the beach ! Couldn’t find second on the centre. Good variety but could be even better.
This traditional bakery in Ano Koufonisi is a true gem.Everything we tried was awesome, but we were pleasantly surprised with the melitinia (traditional sweet pastries) made with mastic, mizithra (local cheese), honey and cinnamon.The staff were very polite.
Had light lunch and coffee here several times as there were limited places open for lunch in early May.
Typical Greek bakery with many different pies for breakfast. Spinach cheese custard ham cheese and so on. Georgoula is quite the character and descent espresso!
