Dionysos is a lovely, restaurant located on the left-hand side of the main road in Kokkari. With a lot of history and traditional flavorous Dionysos first opened its doors and its garden, in 1989. Since then it has been delighting local diners with authentic meat-oriented dishes. It will be hard to find a finer meat place on the island of Samos, than this family run butcher taverna. Everything here is done with passion and love for tradition. Owner Yiannis, together with wife Eirini, serve premium quality meat to satisfy all meat lovers, grilled by Yiannis father, Mr. Kostas, a butcher by trade, as Yiannis is too. The result: SSA meat quality, secret sauces with over 20 different spices, wonderful T-bones, lamp with great complexity of flavor, whole pork barbequed, even Black Angus striploin from Argentina and Uruguay.
