Playhouse is a company that was established in 2000 with one board-game caf in the center of Thessaloniki. This caf caused a wave in the citys life, and resulted in a turn towards board-gaming and a new colorful trend in the caf business. Playhouse introduced a new alternative way of having fun, combining coffee with game playing and radio music. The espresso bar offers a big variety of coffees, drinks, snacks, and desserts, with a great emphasis on quality of material and presentation. However, the one thing that differentiates Playhouse, thus making it unique, is the quality of its games collection. The games, almost 500 different titles at the moment, are chosen amongst many more that are produced every year, and are then tested, translated and finally introduced to the gamers.
