A traditional family-run Taverna with great home-made Cretan cuisine such as Dolmades (rice in vine leaves), Hortopates (filo filled with mountain greens) and Keftedes (small meatballs) for Meze (starters) or Stifado (beef/onion stew), Kounelli (rabbit) or Katsika (goat) and many other local specialties. Zak (owner) also has a selection of other dishes to suit all tastes and ages such as Souvlaki (kebab), Pizza and Salads. H VEGGERA overlooks the picturesque working harbor in Milatos Beach. Great food at great prices (and don't forget the local wine & Raki).
