About
Xasomeri means a waste of time in Greek. It is in the heart of the old neighbourhood of Vamos,a small but exceptional venue, full of surprises! The cuisine is plentiful and one of the tastiest in all of Apokoronas. The menu is often changing, but its based on the Mediterranean cuisine. The sweets are handmade, and the raki is made from the elegant grape varietals malvazia and moschato".Details

Tucked away in the alleys of Vamos and near our hotel, this restaurant was quiet with lots of lovely local food. Two cute cats hanging around for food but not annoying. Friendly service. Recommended.

Charming taverna in a quiet little track in Vamos. Delicious food but quite a small menu. Have visited before and i think the quality has improved a lot. Friendly service, lots of cats and normally has an art gallery but didnt this time.
We walked to Vamos from Gavalochori and finally located this recommended taverna. It was well worth it. Quirky and interesting, beautiful food lovingly prepared and presented. A little gem.
Good atmosfere, decent tastes, interesting setting. A little bit overpriced I guess. No locals of course. I suppose it is quite expensive for them. Anyway, it is a place that you might find some interesting local flavors blended with touristic aristocracy.
Take a torch to find this place after dark as there are a few dark alleyways walking from the main roadVery pleasant visit with wine and spinach pie whilst watching a delightful old movieGreat fun evening
