Called in for lunch after visiting the excellent ancient Aptera site.The main lady was peeling huge potatoes. Starters of gigantes beans and beetroot salad, freshly prepared. Lamb, meatballs with eggs, stuffed courgette flowers in a beautiful traditional setting. A real treat. Do call in.

We visited this taverna for lunch before visiting the ruins at Ancient Aptera. We had some beautiful Calamari and the service from the owner was just amazing. Such a lovely lady – well worth a visit.
