Myrtios Restaurant at Hersonisos Heraklion Hersonisos, Crete Island, Greece. In the central square of Old Hersonissos, there is Myrtios, a stone built traditional tavern. The family owned restaurant welcomes visitors to join the warm environment and taste the authentic Cretan recipes. The restaurant operates for more than 22 years. On Mondays, there is a special celebration at the square of the village with plenty of food, wine, and Cretan dances. The cuisine has unique tastes. All dishes are prepared with Cretan ingredients and high quality olive oil.
