Situated directly on the beach, our taverna "Pelagos" awaits you and welcomes you. Our guests can enjoy Cretan home-made specialties that we prepare with great care while enjoying the view of the Libyan Sea. Our cooking is based on Cretan traditional flavorsa few of the dishes we serve are local meat dishes either grilled or cooked in our special wood-lit oven. Also rice-stuffed onions, chicken in wine sauce, squid with fennel, cheese pies, pies filled with wild greens, snail dishes, goats meat with artichokes, octopus with green peppersand many other amazing dishes. You will also find fresh fish cooked in a variety of ways. All dishes are cooked with virgin olive oil of our own produce, accompanied by our home-made bread baked in our fire-lit oven. Also enjoy bottled wines or wines we produce ourselves, or our own raki. For dessert we recommend orange cake, walnut cake or fruit preserves that we prepare ourselves.
