Sin-trofi is a labour-managed co-operative firm in Rethymno that trades in the food catering industry. We got together in 2013...inspired by similar initiatives of people and movements in Rethymnon and around the world, seeking to look for collective rather than individual approaches to organize our work and our daily survival. "Sintrofi" is a co-operative without shareholders/owners and a work place without employees and bosses. In Greek language "Sin" means plus (+) and "trofi" means food. We add "plus" to our food by choosing to use organic, safe quality products by supporting production methods that are not harmful to humans and the environment by giving priority to local production and the alternative solidarity networks
