I did not stay at the hostel but I had food twice there (breakfast and dinner). Good food, good price and especially the staff was great; namely Mike who was very friendly, helpful and always keen for a conversation.
The traditional Mayan chicken and the stir fry was delicious and cheap!! The mango vodka was like a frozen slushy and perfect to cool you down. Would recommend.
We had a private room for 2, conviently located over the kitchen, a good wake up call at 5am. The food was fine. A highlight was a Maya artist painting 2 large ancient figures on a wall.

Cute cafe and hostel with aircon (very required when we’ve been there) Nice employees especially Nelson the bartender who was very friendly and helpful. Recommended!
The cafe offers a unique array of dishes which I’ve never encountered anywhere else in Flores. They also offer an excellent assortment of beverages, all within a relaxing and peaceful environment.
The food was OK we were a bit disappointed, but would go again as it had a very nice atmosphere, perhaps were were just a little unlucky.
