It is still so nice as it was. It is now more modern, but it still have the warming atmosphere. I just hope that the service can be as good as it was before.
Coffee shops here come and go, but for decades this one continues to be the standard that others can only hope to meet. Even a fire that completely destroyed the place a few years ago couldn’t kill the Xela institution that is Cafe Baviera.
Apple cake was yummy. The lattes were large and weak.The cafe was open at 3 pm today even though this site says it shut at 10 am.On the plus side open on Sundays when my favourite cafe is shut.Music rather intrusive.
We ate here twice, and enjoyed salad, pastas, and the fruit with yoghurt. Very nice staff, lots of businessmen over lunch. I gather the cafe had been recently renovated — we found it very comfortable and a relaxing place to hang out.
Great place to hang out and drink coffee while surfing the internet or reading a book! Good basic food! Relaxing place to meet friends and family!
Sad news. Today this cafe was destroyed by a big fire. The fire department hasn’t been able to control the fire yet.
