The Worlds First Cusha Workshop & Cantina. LaCantina Workshop is the premiere Cocktail Class in Antigua, Guatemala. Daily we provide a 3 Hour tour, starting out under Antigua's famous Golden Arch we take a leiseurly stroll to the Famous Craft Market Nimpot. Nimpot is a very well known place where the Indigenous can sell their artisan work at no cost allowing them to make a living. During the approximate 45 minutes of the Market tour we show the 2 biggest taboos and the relationship between them. We will then walk to the LaCantina Workshop where you will be treated to a experience. With a shrine to Maximon, San Simon, San Pablo. We teach you more about the ancient spirits as a group we learn about local flora, fruits, and vegetables. The Workshop will definitely have it surprises, as you learn how Cusha is distilled, Make fresh fruit cocktails and be guided along the way with an ethnic mayan to intertwine the Cocktail serving experience. Our cocktail designer is one of the most famous in Guatemala and has paired the drinks with typical snack s to make the experience not only culturally relevant, but exciting, educational. We are the worlds First Cusha Bar, and the only cocktail experience where you not only learn a great story but get to sample what some may call "Mayan Moonshine." This is experience is paralleled by none other. Alcohol consumption is not required during the workshops and is more equal to a wine tasting, cocktail, typical food and fruit.
