After hearing good reviews from multiple sources we recently tried out this place. The ‘Bae’s Cappuccino’ is the first of its kind in the city. Inspired by the Eco-friendly concept of Tree houses, this cafe is built over a couple of trees without actually bringing them down and is completely made with wood(floor and furniture) and surrounded by trees thereby offering the feel of freshness all around. Talking about the ambiance this coffee shop offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a simple yet cozy setup. Setup on the roof top of the ‘Athidi Devobava’ restaurant, this cafe has a lot of effort and detailing put into every aspect of it – be it the decor or the cute miniature things on each table adding up to the beauty of this place. They also have a separate seating area for smoking zone which is towards the back of the cafe. They have a variety of board games to play with your group while you enjoy your coffee. Overall the ambiance is very fresh and welcoming. Now lets talk about the best part ‘Food’:) They have a wide range of menu items to chose from including Italian, Mexican, American cuisines along with Coffees, Smoothies, Milkshakes, Mocktails and Bakery items and what not. The coffees here are good and I was really amazed looking at the quantity of coffee they serve. For the price I thought they might be offering small sized cup but I was wrong, the quantity is huge compared to the price we pay and taste was great. My personal favorite here in the coffees was the ‘Cappuccino Grande’- it was sooo grand I should say. We also had ‘Cafe Mocha’ which was good. Their ‘Garlic bread’ was also so yumm! And they have a variety of desserts on their menu which will definitely grab your attention. But since we were confused about what to pick from the lot, we ended up asking the waiter for the recommendation there and without any second thought he told us to go for the ‘Royal Crunch’ which is their best seller. So rich, so chocolaty and crunchy mix giving it a unique taste and we absolutely loved it and no wonder it is their best seller. And the surprising part is – it is an egg-less dessert and we never knew that part until their owner informed about their hot seller later during our conversation. This is a must try here and you will regret later if you miss it! The only downside or I would rather say something that needs to improve here is the service. We felt it was pretty slow or may be it was one of those odd days where they are really short staffed. We initially sat outside in the outdoor table but we were not attended even after 20mins so I had to walk up to the counter and inform the owner there and they said they will attend shortly. And we had to wait another 15mins to get our turn when the waiter finally appeared in front our table to take the order. Later we had to wait for our table to be cleaned and for that also we had to ask them thrice and then no paper towels, another two times to ask for and finally a never ending wait for our food order where we ended up cancelling one of the items in the order (French fries) that we ask for as it took more than 25mins. Apart from the service part everything else about this place was great. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely come back to give them another try and of course for the love of the ‘Royal Crunch’ :)For more interesting reviews and posts do check out and follow my insta handle @thehungrytourer
