After seeing multiple reviews about this new food place in Vizag, we finally decided to stop by last night for dine in. This is a small place which was clean, well lit up and had good ambiance. The staff was very polite and most of them were north indian staff. Talking about the food – we tried the recommended dishes as per the staff’s recommendation about best sellers here’Fish Manchurian’ – it was served with semi wet thick gravy. The fish was juicy and tasty however the only let down was there was a bit of fishy odour which was something that I did not like about. And the quantity was decent (Costed Rs. 239/-)’Crispy Fried Chicken’ – basically I felt that this was having some crispy chicken tossed in some burnt veggies and garlic. It was spicy though but I felt it could have been made better. And I felt the quantity could have been better (Costed Rs. 219/-)’Chicken Dum Biryani’ – The quantity of biryani was pretty decent however I felt that the flavor of biryani was missing and it was pretty bland and also the chicken was hard and something which was not upto mark according to me. Basically all I could feel was they served some biryani rice topped with some chicken tossed in masala and was like pretty average(Costed Rs. 219/-). ‘Fish Biryani’ – same goes with this and again the fish was smelling fishy odour which I did not like about (Costed Rs. 299/-)’Chicken Fry Piece Biryani’ – Same with the biryani rice and coming to the Chicken fry pieces they were hard and we felt like there was too much of food color used and again pretty average(Costed Rs. 219/-)We initially felt like may be the dishes that we ordered might not be up to mark that day but there was a family next to our table who spoke to us post dinner and even they were pretty dissatisfied with their food and expressed the same level of disappointment. Overall I felt the food was pretty average (or may the standards went down lately as I could see pretty good ratings for this food place when it was started few months back). Hope they improve it down the line. For more interesting reviews and posts do check out and follow my insta handle Thehungrytourer
I had a good dining experience here, homely ambience with good food ! Tried almost everything from their menu .starters to main course everything was yummy and drool worthy .my personal fav were the keema biryani (5/5) ,paneer papdi and achari chicken .Costs were reasnoble too .it ranged 200-250 per starter with good portionsOverall recommend !
Burp! Burp! Burp! Burp!.This is what happened when I return home. It was an amazing food. There was a small get together with my friends and we choose this place for dinner. Firstly we went for the starters. Wide spread spread of menu confused what to order in the starter. In the veg we have ordered veg Garden and Paneer papad. It’s weird to hear the name veg garden.Veg garden:- it is similar to vegmanchurian but coriander leaves are deep fried and grated Paneer garnished with it enhances the taste of it.Paneer Papad is crispy outside and soft inside which gives you the different experience in Paneer dishes. In the non veg we have ordered Malai Kabab,Haryani kebab and sliced chicken. Kebabs were crispy outside and juicy inside and soft to taste. Sliced chicken is a must try starter which is tossed with cummin and sesame seeds which enhance the flavour of the dish and helps in good digestion. In the main course we have ordered paratha butter naan Achari chicken, Malai chicken, Vizag Grand special curry, and few more which I don’t remember the name. All of them are really good and Achari chicken is must try for combination of butter naan. Later we have ordered chicken Dum Biryani Pot Biryani and keema Biryani which is Vizag Grand special. Dum Biryani is perfectly cooked and tasted really very well which is mouth-watering to me. Pot Biryani is perfect but excess of ghee spoil the taste of spices in it and I loved Vizag grand special keema Biryani which is wrapped with omelette. Finally we finished our dinner with cooler( sweet lime soda).Ambience:- it is really suitable for family and small get together with this seating capacity of 60 people.I would have given 4.5 out of 5 but there is no option called 4.5.
