After touring Sikkim and Bhutan for 18 days, My flight back home was from Guwahati. I only had one day in the city and badly wanted to try some local cuisine. My search on Zomato lead me to Cafe Heritage Kharika. Ordered the Chicken served with North East sauce after browsing through a few reviews. As they say first impressions last and in this case it was downright bad. The dish smelled like cow dung and I am not exaggerating over here. Only thing good on the plate were the french fries with the sauce.I am not a expert on Assamese cuisine. But the food here was really bad.
