A popular and vintage sweet hut in the locality, their sweets are definitely something one should try out. Among them, the most popular one has to be their Ras malai, which is served in traditional earthenware adding another ounce of serenity to the already heavenly taste that the dessert has. The samosas are good are but if there, you have to go for their Ras malai. Won’t leave dissatisfied.
One of the oldest sweet shops of Guwahati.. Tried almost every sweet here and they are very delicious . Prices are also reasonable. The sweets are made daily and they don’t serve old sweets .
The place is situated at a very good place and it is viewable from normal traffic.I have been to this place yesterday and ordered tea and some snacks for the evening. The items of this place are not bad and not very superb too but it is average like we get in other hotels. The tea was good and snacks that we had were good too.Overall Rating:Food quality: 4 out 5Staff service: 4 out 5
SMALL SSSWEET SHOP just adjacent to nemcare hospital. The shop might just not catch your eye if you are new to Guwahati but it is quite popular. The sweets taste a bit different . The rasmalais inside khullars are Just fabulours. The samosas are also something to talk about. You also get Pati sepeta pithas which is a rarity in Guwahati nowdays. A few days ago my colleague a new generation loved the pati sepeta and asked me what was it. I said thats HERITAGE. I wish this old fashioned sweet shop revives the taste for niche sweets of our heritage and culture .
Looks like any ordinary sweet shop crowded by sweet lovers. Gunjan Sweets sells amazingly delicious Ras Malai that is worth dying for. Served in kulhar, and priced at Rs 30, it is definitely worth trying.
