I always love their food, very simple yet lip smacking. This time I tried their ‘Poita Bhat’ thali. It was pure bliss. For a hot summer day what can be more satisfying than a chilled ‘thekera juice’ , a platter of poita bhat (fermented rice), tangy fish fry, pura maas pitika (mashed smoke fish) and couple of other ethnic dishes. These kind of food is always special as we don’t usually eat such at our homes so frequently. You can experience this thali which will probably take you to rural Assam. A big thumbs up for the food.Food: 4.5/5Price: 4/5Quantity: 3/5Ambience: 2.5/5Stuffs: Friendly.P.s: I like the fact that the owner monitors and interacts with every customer. Highly satisfied with the food as well as the behaviour of the owner. Had veg thali with duck meat. The amount of meat served per plate was more than sufficient. The meat was cooked the way we use to cook at home without extra masalas. Highly recommended place for duck lover.
Not satisfactory,the price is high as compared to other ethnic restaurant. We have ordered duck and mutton thali but totally disappointed with the taste.
A small rustic place to have a quiet meal with your family. A polite and enthusiastic owner and staff,made the meal a soulful one.The food is cooked in actual assamese style, without any foreign spices.Would whole heartedly recommend this place.
A fantastic place to have a lunch. The owner and the staff are very polite and friendly. The taste of the food was very good. Had an ethnic lunch today in this outlet. The food that was served was tasty and reminded me of my home. Great eatery to have in Guwahati. The cuisines are very good. Essence of every nook and corner of Assam can be felt in the dishes. Anyone who wants to have Assamese dishes. Thumbs up for you people
