Nice place for family dine. Ambience is really nice. Coming to food , we ordered kashmiri n corn pulao, chicken lababdar, chicken lollipop, hakka noodles, butter naan n kadhai paneer. Chicken lollipop ws d best acc to me. We enjoyed eating dre. Service could be little faster, dats y i rate it 4 .
I was planning to visit this place since a long time and finally I happened to visit it yesterday.LOCATION-This place can be located on the last gate to beltola road and is easily accessible as it can be seen from the mainroad itself. One can easily reach this place using local buses and get down at the passport office stop and have a 2 mins walk to the destination.Parking is not an issue as vallet parking is available.AMBIENCE-The enviromment is no different than any other restaurants in the city but it has a classy and decent ambience overall. The restaurant, in the first floor can be reached by lift or by taking stairs which were quite narrow. The temperature was very well maintained.FOOD-We ordered subze seekh kebab, paneer onion capsicum bhurji, chicken rezala, butter naan, garlic naan and cream caramel for desert.Subze seekh kebab- Eight pieces were served with cumcumber and carrots. The kebabs tasted average and were a little dry. (2.5/5)Paneer onion capsicum bhurji – It was very well cooked and the onion and capsicum added softness and juiceness to the dish and tasted well balance on the palate. (4/5)Chicken rezala- This is definately a must have. The goodness and richness of cashew nuts added a delicious flavour to the dish. The chicken was very well cooked and melted in mouth. The dish looks eyecatching which will defiantely make you drool. (4.5/5)Butter naan- The naan was soft and crispy at the same time and was not at all burnt. (3.5/5)Garlic naan- It was better than the butter naan and would definately recommend this. (4/5)Cream caramel- It is very light and is baked with caramel sauce. The taste was very well balance and was not oversweet as the cream was balancing the sweetness of the caramel. I found this a bit overpriced.SERVICE-The staffs of this place were very warm and helpful. They helped us with ordering the best among all.But the service was quite time taking which needs to be improved.OVERALL EXPERIENCE-This place is one of the must visit place to hang out with family and friends and I had an overall a very good experience. They have options for both buffet and á-la-carte.
Great ambience within your budget. The food is healthy and reasonable. Stayed there for a day and all the food services were great. The buffet is a must try for all food lovers.
Was here for party. Their restaurant is a warm & cosy place. Not too big but given its a part of a hotel, it does justice to it.Being reserved for the party, they had a buffet spread consisting of the usual Indian fare. For starters, they served chicken kebabs, paneer pakora, veg soup & a mango drink. The kebabs were alright but the others weren’t so.The main course having naans, peas pulao, matar paneer, veg koftas, brinjal fry in the veg section and fish kalia, chicken lababdaar & mutton rogan josh in the non veg section looked bright and good but apart from the chicken, the naan & the brinjals, the others just made up the numbers. The dessert section did save the day though. The hot gulab jaamuns were some of the best you find in the city and the vanilla ice cream with tuti fruti was the top of the lot.Overall, an experience which I though would be better.
Beautiful and classy place. Food is good. Had Mutton Biryani and it was very tasty. But the staffs lacks professionalism. They told us to leave the place early. And behaviour was not good.
Literally i was thinking about spending my time and having my breakfast with my special one today. This led me to think of places like this which were within my budget for the day. This was my first time in this place and i always explore new places with my special one. As i entered the gate, first of all there was no checking of my vehicle but the security guided me well to the parking spot which was in the basement. They donot have a scope to accomodate higher number of vehicles . The basement was not clean enough because the store room was accessible from it and all the items were lying on the ground near my vehicle. Anyways as i entered the place it was really worth the time, money and experience. The grand entry was really desirable. Being an old hotel of Guwahati, it had a retro feeling as you enter. The waiter and the security at the entrance very generously welcomed us with a Good morning and a polite smile. They were really friendly and helped us reach our desirable seat. We were given two menus one for each of us. We went for the bottled water which was ₹60 for a litre. The food that we wished to eat was not available as the time for the breakfast was almost over. I dont think this should be the reason. There were beautiful wine glasses to have your water. They poured us the water and gave us the dishes and the spoon, fork and knife was laid beside our plate which was wrapped in a cloth. They however do not provide you the cloth to cover your trousers. The food that came was really delicious as per the name of the restaurant. We also ordered a plate of Hot Gulaab Jamun which was really not good. It was too sweet and the quality was so bad. After that we made the payment and left the place. It was a good time there today. Hope to see again.
