Hotel lily is a beautiful one and an impressive one. Cilantro there is a quite spacious dining area. The staffs are very tained and gentle. Coming to the main part the food, starters are very tasty and upto the price. But the main course items are average and needs improvement.
Alcoholic beverages are very highly priced. Many bars of same standard serves alcohol at half the price of the bar at the hotel. Overall sad experience.
Had lunch at the Lily Hotel – Cilantro. Ordered for makai palak, dal tadka, mix veg. Palak was full of artificial colour, while the mix veg had some uncooked onions. Dal was good. Adept service. All in all, a decent experience.
I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and the first two days had my dinner there. The staff are unprofessional and quality of food is very bad. Mutton was chewy and undercooked when we complained about it, the waiter told us that it is cooked like that in big restaurants. The chicken curry was tasteless and the only good thing was the dal. The chef doesn’t even know how to cook plain rice, as it was under cooked and hard in middle. The fish was over fried , burned from outside and was of poor quality. For desert we ordered ice cream and gulab jamun. The gulab jamun was ok but the ice cream was old smelly. Overall very bad quality food and very bad service. Have to shout and call the waiters for water. Being a four star hotel expected much more but even a road side dhaba serves better.
Chocolate mousse is yummy. Starters are delicious and so is the main course. Ambience is peaceful and calm. Staff is welcoming and prompt at providing the best service they can n they are good at it.
