The place is beautifully decked up with lights and warm decor. We went to the second floor, where the restaurant is located. The restaurant is tastefully done but the food is not upto the mark. We ordered the tandoori platter which was amazing. The prawns, the basa and chicken everything was top notch. But, they kinda messed up the main course. We ordered garlic naan, butter naan, plain rice, chicken butter masala, chicken do pyazza and one more dish (something with cashewnut) The butter masala was tasteless and tandoori chicken pieces were just sprinkled in the gravy. The cashewnut gravy was really raw and it was smelling of raw chashewnut mixed with masala. The naan was soft, tender and tasty. The chicken do pyazza was quite ok. Overall the food was bad. The prices were affordable but quantity was too less. 🙁 I wish it was good because it is near to my house. *cries*

The starter was good.but the main course was not upto the mark.interiors are also a bit dark.service of the restaurant was good. I had stayed at the Bhargav Grand during an official trip to the city. The restaurant is quite nice. The food is also quite good. The service and ambiance are also very good. However, the prices are abnormally high. That is the sole reason for my low rating – the cost benefit. But by my understanding, prices are generally high in Gauhati. So if you are willing to look beyond the right hand column of the menu card, you can give this place a visit.
I was at this place when I went to Guwahati on a office trip. The food is really great.I tried almost all of their menu since I was staying in. The Hotel. The staff is extremely courteous and always pay heed to our demands.One of the best from their menu was paneer pasanda and Schezewan fried rice. The veg manchurian and Cantonese Fried Rice is also a must have.Do give this place a tey when you are in Guwahati.
I went randomly to Hotel Bhargav Grand, a luxury hotel, asking if they had a restaurant. I was directed to 2nd floor-PAGHAN, the restaurant of the hotel. It is well set with beautiful furniture, wall hangings and antique clocks. The ambiance was so beautiful with soft music. The temptation increased as I saw my food coming closer to me. It was well garnished and served. As expected, it was very tasty, delicious and made me confident to visit it again.
