This is one of those overpriced places that you would like to avoid. They will ask you to shift for absolutely no reason in an empty restaurant. They will take an hour to serve the order and would not bother to give you bill once you are finished. However taste of food is ok.

Stayed here from Oct 29 to Oct 31. Room No 3021) The property is situated in the heart of the city. Convenient.2) The rooms are a decent size. Average.3) Inconvenient aqua area. A non-enclosed bathing area, such that the water naturally spilled near the washbasin. A glass partition would have done the trick. Basic supplies.5) Great beds. Thick mattresses. Great sleep quality.6) Inadequate charging points. Only one between two beds. Pathetic.7) Nicely working AC and equally nice wi fi.8) The view of Nepali temple from my French window panes was super.9) Pathetic Breakfast.Fresh cut fruits. Curds. Idli, wada, Dosa, Eggs, Cereals.Absolutely light sambar.Watery, more of a rasam.Lackluster pav bhajiChhole Bhature way too bland.Artificially coloured Kairi Panna and Aam ras.10) A special mention of the ever-smiling hostess Bhagyalaxmi. Helpful and charming. Thank you.Overall, a yes to a repeat visit. sanjaynpunjabi.blogspot.com

Had dinner with a client who stayed at Hotel Atithi. Ordered fish fingers, chicken and mushroom soup, chicken grilled sandwiches, French fries, mixed fried rice and chicken hot garlic. Unfortunately, none of them were good, except maybe the sandwich, but I guess you don’t really need any special skills to put chicken and mayonnaise between two slices of bread. Also, the garlic chicken was disappointingly stiff. And they’re so late with the orders, which makes the end result even more disappointing. Not recommended at all.

Went to a business lunch with my boss. This restaurant is a part of Atithi hotel and mainly runs on corporate meeting clients and such. Not ideal for occasional eat ups. Ordered for Hilsa , plain rice ,dal fry and aloo bhaja.More or less a typical bengali typ menu. Staffs r pretty courteous but order delivery took like for ever. Taste was below average as per se. Ambiance was ok. Cant write much about this restaurant.
