It’s a pretty Cool place. It’s kind of quiet and you can enjoy your drink and eat in peace here. It’s pretty reasonable on the prices too. There’s live piano performace in the late evenings.
Dining here is an absolutely premium experience and hence be prepared to shell out the extra bucks when you’re here. The food here is good, they’ve got a good range of Indian and continental cuisine here which I really like. The atmosphere here is cool and casual and its a good place to sit with a group and have a few round of drinks. Plus there are live musicians performing here often surely sets the mood.
Best place to unwind. The drinks are great and the bar guys are very friendly. I usually go alone to enjoy some lone time, with some scotch and great music. The man who plays the piano live everyday is blessed !
The piano bar as the name suggests is a bar with snacks items on its menu and the complementary item along with the drinks is the piano music.. Went there with some friends last week after great feedback from one of my frens who’s a regular.. and I must say I was not disappointed..The staff is very cordial and the ambience perfect for spending a leisurely evening after a hard day’s work.. Coming to the food, it has only snacks consisting of some pork fish and chicken items.. we chose fish fingers and fish tikka.. and both of them made to perfection.. the papads were well roasted and the peanuts well salted.. all in all a flawless performance in terms of food..The service time needs to improve and also it would help if the seating is slightly more comfortable (lounge-ish)..Well the day I went there wasnt any piano playing.. but then I have saved that one for the next visit..Prices are ok considering the ambience and crowd.. its mostly corporate / business people who frequent the place so it’s best for people who needs a peaceful drink (we were told to be quieter very politely though) and some quality conversation..People looking for loud music / young crowd – this is the wrong place..
Oh i visited Piano bar more than once. Its attached with Landmark Hotel at B. Baruah Road in Guwahati. The hotel is of course one of the oldest and good hotels to stay in. It is huge and gives a good view of the Nehru Stadium. The Piano and yellow table goes with its legacy. The bar is nice and sophisticated and only crowds corporates mostly as its not that cheap. Ambiance is good but i must say service is not upto the mark. As i know landmark in and out and about its service, this comes no surprise. Food is quite good which serves variety of pork, fish fingers and tikkas. Rates are on the higher side and thats fine with the kind of environment you get. Not for those who want some loud music and young crowd !!Food 3.5/5Ambiance 4/5Service 2/5
