I visited this restaurant recently. i admit the food was good but please be careful while paying the bill.In my bill they added three types of tax. Service food charge, cgt and sgt. I still do not know what is cgt and sgt. i was knowing only cst and gst.moreover they charged 9% each for cgt and sgt which is not valid while as per government rule it should be 2.5% each for cst and gst.again when i told them to cancel food service charge they were reluctant to do that.it seemed that they were not aware of new rule which is now 2-3 years old rule now.i hope they follow the guide line by government.

It’s an absolutely worthless place to order from, I have been a regular customer for 14 years and yet each time I order in from zomato they can’t seem to get my order correct.For heaven’s sake if you have absurdly high prices, have a staff nice enough to go with it. Might as well eat dirt then order from those mongrels
Worst tomato fish curry ever, salt n only salt not a piece of tomato. Review given with high blood pressure. If you want to compromise with health, you should definitely order.
Chilly afternoons in the cold winters of Northern India and all you really want is one good simple meal. Samarat Restaurant at Hotel Chanakya certainly did not fulfil the request.Food(what we ordered)- we ordered yellow dal, tandoori roti and mix vegetable.What we received- cold dal, flat roti (unrisen and uncooked) and mix vegetable consisted of tomatoes onions and peas. Review-1/5Service- 0/5From serviettes which had peen starched and shaped such that they couldn’t be placed on your lap to food dripping from the side of the serving bowls, they were the master of it all. The server just wasn’t interested in serving food and chose to serve everything cold, except the finger bowl. Moreover, he dropped food while serving. This place really needs to redo their whole idea of a restaurant. Final review-If they want to continue being a fine dining restaurant in Patna, they really need to do something about it. Coz I am pretty sure a roadside restaurant/ or a highway dhabha serves better food. Wouldn’t be going there again for sure.
I have visited this hotel many times. It serves one of the best starters in the city. One should definitely try if you are a food lover and wants really good food. Other good features include good ambience, very spacious, own campus for parking.
