Always wanted to visit Yellow Chilli , Patna but never got such chance. And finally visted them yesterday. The interiors are good and sober and at the entrance , they had also setup a selfie point. The decor will try to give you a calm and cool vibe. We were their at around 12:30 pm and the waiter brought us a menu. And then came back to confirm our orders exactly after 20-25 mins. See the level of patience we had , and since they had only 1-2 servers , the time they took was justified. However, we ordered the following dishes.1. Daab E Jheenga (Rs.625) – This dish originated from Bengal. Always wanted to try this dish , but our experience was a total vain. We thought since they will be serving the dish in a Daab , it would be highly presentable but you can see the pics and judge the level of efforts they actually had put in the concept. It had a plain and simple taste and the Jhinga wasn’t cooked properly. So , those who have a spicy bud , please stay away from this dish. For me, I can only feel the taste of coconut milk and that uncooked Jhinga.2. Rajasthani Murgh Ka Mokul – According to the waiter , this was their most spicy dish. But actually we didn’t find it that spicy. It had a hightened taste of red chilli and the taste of all the other spices were mild. Chicken was good , all soft and tender . Overall the dish was good , but if they would have used some more spices , then it could be better.3. Lalla Musa Daal (Rs.275) – It was an ordinary daal with no such special taste. I’ve always heard about this famous daal of Yellow Chilli but I didn’t find it intriguing at all.4. Pyaz Mirch Roti (Rs.60) – Normal butter roti topped with green chillies and onions. You should better order Butter Naan or Garlic Naan instead of this.5. Butter Naan (Rs.55) – It was good with right amount of portion.According to me , after paying a good amount you deserve to see a presentable dish. But this restaurant don’t even bother to make any of their dish presentable at all. I think that this restaurant is running on the name of Sanjeev Kapoor only. This was the overall experience of our visit. Please do mention the name of dish you tried there and is actually good. Would definitely want to try those..Do Follow Us On-Instagram: @L_S_O_F_A_KFacebook: Love Story Of Fork And Knife
