Every gedhi route has an adda or a halt too, and citco food point is the best halt that one can have!Situated right opposite the Art Gallery, or should I say close to the Chandigarh’s Eiffel Tower (made up), this cafe gives a back-to-college feeling like every other Citco cafe! The cafe is located in a valley like garden which is adorned with creative projects of Arts students all around! They have shedded seating and also swings at about two points, however cleanliness is the last thing on their mind it seems!The place is like a heaven during winters, where you can enjoy quick snacks with coffee and sit in the sun, or just keep walking outside in the parking lot which is like an arena for the bikes and cars to show their drifting skills!Amid the peace of gardens, this place serves as an amazing getaway and low cost dating zone! Only the cleanliness part needs to be worked upon!
I’ve been coming to this place for years now. Right in front of the Arts Museum in Leisure Valley with a Pakistan Tank from the 1971 Indo-Pak War in the Parking lot. It is ideally located.The Food is always fresh and it’s like a students canteen with benches and tables all around. There’s even a swing in the seating. I love the Maggi, Veg and Cheese Patties, Kadhi/Rajma/Chana Chawal, Grilled Sandwiches and Cold Coffee.For the ones who frequent the CLTA -DAV canteen, the food is the same at both these outlets and I love the Nescafe Ketchup served here.Highly economical Food in Pleasant surroundings!
