Once winters hit the city, I am always on a lookout for places where I can sit out and eat. Its something I enjoy doing. So when I heard about the newly opened Playground terrace, it got my attention mainly for the venue as opposed to the food. So the spot is nice and cozy indeed and works for both lunch hours and evening duos. Ladies with heels may have a bit of a problem going up the stairs, but that not too much of a bother if the ‘spirits’ are not too high. The food. Let’s talk about that. Its interesting. The presentations are fun and I enjoyed almost all of what thy served. The dishes that deserve special attention were, Ajwaini fish and the bhatti ka murg. The cheesy jalapenos worked for me and I highly recommend the mutton pudina. The tawa chicken is a good choice if you are mixing in a few cocktails. The doner kebabs and tikkas were all up to mark and the main course is something that is also worth a try. The entire experience of sitting out and having your drinks while the tandoor doles out fresh grilled food was fun and something that I recommend.Try the place out. I do suggest getting a table booked if you are a large group cause seating is kinda limited.
