Good food and quality
This outlet is located in Yashwant Place, well it hadn’t any fancy ambience but neat and clean in comparison to other outlets in the vicinity. They have some sitting arrangement inside the shop and partially outside in the evening. If you look at their menu, it is very extensive and very pricey as well. This outlet was recommended by my local friend. We ordered their popular Momos. Momo, I found it very commonplace. Prices are bit high. nomnomdiaries.com
Bamboo Chopstix – an affair to forget. This was my first visit to this Chanakyapuri food hub, and it looked impressive. Most of the outlets gave an impression of serving north eastern food. After a stroll across the area, we chose to sit here, possibly coz it looked a bit cleaner than the rest. I happen to love north eastern cuisines and chose to order my staple favourite Pork thukpa along with pork szechwan. I have had memorable thukpas across delhi, which made this horrid experience painful yet easier to remember. The food when served looked like a bowl of puke and what i am writing might be unappetizing but certainly i am not exaggerating. The taste was terrible, bland and belonged straight to the dustbin. And food by no means is value for money here. That bowl of liquid garbage was for Rs200. Next in line was the disaster of pork szechwan. I swear i remember to make it of pork, but they chose to serve with leftovers. Dumb cut chunks of onions and bell peppers smelling stale, with traces of leftover pork. It was nightmare which cost us a whooping rs320. Felt terrible wasting so much money on such low quality food. Needless to say, will never again accidentally will go about searching for food here. myfoodbarpotli.wordpress.com
On a chilly winter evening, I visited Yashwant Place with my mother for a dinner. We were bombarded by all the restaurateurs to come and sit at their restaurant. Finally deciding on Bamboo Chopstix, we took a seat and went through the menu. First, we only wanted to try something to judge the quality of food. So we ordered the -Lemon Coriander Prawn Soup. The soup was clear soup, the flavour was fine but the prawns used seemed too old and hence that peculiar smell of fish was emanating from the soup. So we didn’t Order anything else from here. It was for 200/-
Doing okay. Famous for the momos, the cheese and chicken momos both are average. Bigger in size than usual, but ordinary in taste. Not the best place to dine-in at because of the open surroundings and resultant flies.
Momos are awesome .. Yashwant palace is for Best Chinese stuff in delhi.. Ample space for parking outside market .. And one can find alot of outlets over there
