Located in one of the most filthy roads in Central Delhi, it is inside the Classic Hotel Broadway. Thugs has a very classic and retro mix ambience. It’s an ideal place for budget drinking. I mean you can think of getting drunk in 1000 odd bucks. I mean I have never seen any cafe or bar offering blenders Pride for 105rs. I was there for quick drinks and order 2 pegs with which I was offered complimentary roasted papad and peanuts. I mean the quantity of masala papad was way more then I normally get when I actually pay for it.Overall, it was a great experience. It is a must try place. They do not have much options to it but then they surely have enough to keep your hunger in control and keep you munching.
The bar served only kingfisher lager beer. Plus the food was horrible. Chicken sizzler meant one chicken burger patty, few burnt french fries and lots of tomatoes and peas. Never gonna visit this place again
You know what you should do? Get down at Delhi gate metro on a Sunday morning buy tons of books in the Daryaganj book market, then walk through the street markets and suddenly you’ll find yourself in front of Jama masjid. You’ll be tired by now, where to go? Thugs..a classy retro interior and the very tempting Kaliyaa (cocktail rum and coke) stay here for hours alone/with a group it’s worth it.
Well the place is a true hidden gem. I still remember I was introduced to this bar by an office friend he was my senior a couple of years back. Since then I’m hooked to this place. The place is small very well decorated with old paintings of 60’s 70’s 80’s bad men in movies. Just beautiful & so different. Not so crowdy. Now coming to the drinks I m big fan of kaalia a rum based drink with cola & a hint of mint. Choney Seth vodka based with orange juice & the beer pitcher. Just awesome. In snacks I suggest veg pakoda ..veg sizzler which is served hot on a tawa with French fries & salad. For non veg their chicken tandoori & fish fingers are just mouth watering. Non really a main course or dinner place. Very cost friendly won’t burn a hole in pocket. So if u r looking for a place where u can sit peacefully with friends & have great conversation without loud music over chilled beer & lip smacking snacks this one is the best. I m going with a 5 star which is biased but that’s a personal favorite as I’ve so many good memories attached to it. Highly recommended do visit once.

Impressive place overall. Classic bollywood-ish interiors. You can drink at peace – no loud music, no ‘crowd’, and the prices are right. I’ll recommend.
