Loved the interior and inclined towards traditional Bengali Cuisine the plating and service was excellent. For sea food and prawn lovers you should order Dhar CHINGRI and CHINGRI Malai Curry cooked with coconut base added different flavours.
I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and this place never fails to surprise me with its amazing menu. This is one of the best Bengali restaurants I’ve been too. The must-try dishes of this place are Bhetki Maach Paturi which was delicious, luchi kosha mansho, Bhaja Muger daal with Aloo bhaja. These are a few of my favourites. However, you can try out any of the dishes and you won’t be disappointed for sure. The waiters are really kind and friendly and the interiors are great too! backpackingwithmylens.com
The perfect place to hog on Bengali food if you do not like to go to the small congested eateries in CR Park. It’s a nice clean restaurant with beautiful ambience. Walls decorated with posters of all big shots of Bengal like Rabindranath Tagore, Uttam Kumar, Satyajit Ray to name a few.The furnitures are beautifully carved wooden ones giving antique look while the cutlery used is Brass.Food is very tasty, served with utmost care and authentic. The only place where I could locate Chicken Dakbunglo, a very old Bengali cuisine that dates back to colonial time. The baked Rosogolla too was very good.
