As suggested by Zomato, I’ll be polite and friendly to the readers and strongly recommend that you never ever order food from here. The Jhur Jhure Aloo Bhaja is an abomination. And who eats Begun Bharta with Mangshor Jhol and Rice for lunch. That is their Mutton Thali combination! The Mangshor Jhol is super heavy with under cooked onion paste. EDIT: Reduced to single star for being closed to feedback.

Very delicious Homemade Bengali cuisine. The food is homely and less oily. The fish that they prepare are fresh and taste good. The service is fast and i would recommend this place for tiffin services.
The food was fantastic, not a lot of spices. The rohu fish was well cooked, just had a tad bit of extra oil, which is acceptable. The yellow Dal was delicious. It felt like I was eating home cooked meal. The only thing I didn’t like was the veg dish I got with the thali. There were a lot of drum sticks along with potato. It’s certainly healthy, It’s just that I don’t like it in high proportion. The only reason I gave a 4 is because there’s always a scope for improvement. This was the review on my first experience I had with these guys. Since then, the quality has gone down drastically. I order rohu jhal, rohu kalia, chilly fish and fish and chips. I requested them to make the Rohu with less curry. It was way too salty. I thought of giving them one more try as I was planning to go for a monthly tiffin service in the near future. On Diwali, I was at my sister’s place and I decided to order Mutton Kosha and Chilli fish. The worst decision I could’ve made. This time it was like they didn’t feel like making a single ounce of effort. The Mutton was so tough, I had to throw it away after 2 bites, also the chilli fish had hardly any chilli masala. It was dry piece of fish fried. Might as well they could’ve told me that they are not delivering on that day. My Diwali evening started with such a Horrible experience. I had to order food from somewhere else.
I really loved ordering luchi and alur dom from this delivery restaurant. The food was authentic and really tasty.Roj bhoj is a very economical joint to satisfy one’s craving for authentic Bengali dishes. Although the price is cheap, the quality is no way lesser than the food served in big branded Bengali restaurants.When I called the owner to share my feedback with them, I got to know that it’s operated by an all women group and that’s make it more special for me, atleast! Keep it up ✌✌✌✌
The Bengali food they serve is authentic and priced economically, I have been ordering their preparations since a year and am a happy satisfied customer, good to see they have added many more recipes for the Bong palate, wish they open a fine dining restaurant someday in the neighbourhood. The stuff I love the most from them is the roasted chicken, Rajasthani mutton curry, and definitely the fish curried they make are an absolute delicacy, cooked with loads of love and attention to detail, cheers!
