Where do you go when you are really broke and your hostel serves some really awful alu matar. Based on rave reviews by my hostel mates, I decided to give their thali a try. The thali had dal makhni, aloo gobi, raita, shahi paneer, pulao, salad and lachha paratha.The ambience is nothing great, nor did I expect any.Coming to the food, the dal makhni was good though I usually don’t like it. Salad was very crudely cut. Shahi paneer tasted okay, and the raita was just so so. The star of the dish was definitely gulab jamun, which somehow managed to give me satisfaction. The service was alright. It costed me 130 bucks.

ASP is located in the DDA market of Pocket 8, Kalkaji Extension, and the only restaurant in the locality. It kind of enjoys a monopoly status in Kalkaji extension, and the people who don’t know any other place around are bound to order from this ‘not-so-good’ restaurant.First of all, don’t ever think of eating here. This place isn’t anything near hygienic. The prices of everything are sky-high. The waiters are polite though but that isn’t good enough. So if you are forced to eat from this place always order it at home and don’t consider coming here.The food is stale, and not just one thing but almost everything. So it won’t be a surprise if u fall sick afterwards. And I’m telling this from my personal experience because I fell sick after eating from ASP.Everything on the menu is pretty expensive for the quality of food they are offering. So you might feel that you have wasted your money after eating here.Now if you order for a home delivery from ASP, then you will again be disappointed as the food will be delivered quite late and cold.So there are plenty of options around ASP, try them instead.Overall Rating: 1/5Not recommendable at all. foodiesumit.wordpress.com
