Sandoz has got decent and comfortable dining area, both in the outside lawn and inside. For a Sunday lunch, we ordered Fish Tikka, Palal Patta Chaat and Dahi Ke Sholay. Dahi ki Sholay was quite good, though a little sweet for my liking. Palak Patta Chaat also was decent. But, the fish tikka did not live up to its reputation. It had a very fishy smell indicating that the fish was not fresh. It was Surmai fish and this rarely happens! For the main course, we ordered a Butter Chicken, Keema Mutton, Daal Makni and assorted Rotis. the gravy of the dishes were loaded with cream/butter and I did not enjoy the lunch experience. We ordered a Phirni and Kulfi to wind up the meal. Phirni was a tiny portion and I think it was priced accordingly. I wish it was atleast double the portion. Also I felt that menu is quite small and could have been more exciting! chompingchampion.com
Love love love this place. Hands down the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. It’s creamy, tangy, spicy, sweet just the perfect blend of flavours. I love their Afghani chicken tikka, tawa Chaap, and love the fact that their quantity is so good, and things like roti, coke are inexpensive. I rate 5/5 for awesome north Indian food!
-Today went to this newly opened North Indian cuisine joint at Lajpat Nagar, with a couple of friends-I really loved the ambience ! Perfect for a weekend brunch with your family and friends -Interiors and sitting area was superb and quite comfortable – For starters, we had Bhatti chicken tikka ( which was extremely soft and creamy and totally recommended), Chicken Malai Tikka( soft again) and Shanghai Rolls( more or less tasted like spring rolls only, nothing great) – Loved the Keema Mutton we had – both quality wise and quantity wise -Ended the brunch with some Phirni( delicious ) and Garma Garam Gulab Jamun !!So, all North Indian cuisine and Non-Veg lovers – you gotta try this place for sure !!!
Another classic case of a franchise branch spoiling the name of a legendary old place. Having discovered the amazing flavours at Sandoz CP, i have been thrilled they have now reached south delhi; in nehru place and Lajpat Nagar. While the nehru place Sandoz is quite amazing and the same quality as CP (have already ordered four times in last one week from there) i decided to order from Sandoz Lajpat nagar. Confirmed on the phone with them before placing the order and the person on the other side clearly explained tawa chicken to be mildly spicy and handi on their recommendation being different and spicy and a must try. I Also gave a clear written instructions in my zomato order not to put butter over the garlic naan. When I get the order, its two portions of handi chicken and butter on the garlic naan. Call up the restaurant and they ask me to send pics via whatsapp. Call them back in next 5 min with a reply that there is no difference between tawa chicken n handi except that one of them also carries a boiled egg. I have ordered tawa chicken from nehru place and I know it’s mildly spiced and much different from what i got today. He also tells me as a huge favour, will replace the naan if i send it back to their restaurant and he will throw in something extra in my next order. Buddy, i must tell you guys, why would i order thru zomato on a saturday evening if i wanted to venture out and that too to travel far to replace one naan! An apology might have been sufficient but i guess this has become the order of things in the food industry today. Sandoz Lajpat nagar, you just lost a good customer with that atitude. Flavour of handi chicken, pretty average. nobsaboutfood.com
Visited Sandoz, Lajpat Nagar on a Saturday evening for dinner. It is located at the service lane of Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar-3. The Ambience is decent & clean nothing specular though. The Menu was elaborate & well priced. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was quick & the server was polite & well mannered. But the best part about the restaurant was it’s food which was simply amazing. Following is my rating to the dishes which we ordered:Lemon Corriander Soup – 5/5Palak Patta Chaat – 4/5Boneless Chicken Butter Masala – 4/5Butter & Garlic Naan – 4/5Chilly Garlic Noodles – 3.75/5Last but not the least, the jaggery served along with the mouth fresheners during billing, was reminiscent of an authentic North Indian restaurant. All in all, a great meal.
Courteous service, amazing decor and most importantly, delectable food. Food is well priced for the taste and service offered. Since this place is generally packed throughout, prefer prior bookings.
The interior was amazing, Sandoz have many branch but this one is quiet good theybhave made. Food was also good in taste as well as the stagg people were also good
